How BODEX simplifies the sales operation by developing a Cloud-based sales software application
Problem Statement
We were approached by a client The Blindman, a blinds company. They stated that their manual processes are impeding the sales operations of their company as sales representatives are required to visit each household to measure windows, recommend suitable coverings, and manually calculate costs. This cumbersome procedure poses a significant burden on the sales team and hampers the efficiency of the sales process.
Solution
We understood the problem and proactively suggested this solution. We architected, designed, and developed a multi-tenant cloud-based sales software application where Blindman’s sales representative will go to any Customer’s house, take the window size and according to the coverings selected proposal is created and when the proposal is accepted by the customer, a sales order is created in the application which is again signed by the Customer.
The core features of the application are:-
- Adding New Customer
- Scheduling appointments
- Entering window measurement and specification
- Proposal Creation and Covering Selection suggestion as per window specification
- Selection of Coverings and adding SKUs as per requirement
- Proposal Acceptance
- Sales Order sending for acceptance and confirmation from the customer
- Sales Order convert into Work Order and sending the order to the factory
